Sliding wardrobe with Walnut detailing £19200 inc vat

Project goal: High-end wardrobe to replace existing MDF unit with plenty of hanging space and lots of drawer boxes. The lack of space in the room meant that a sliding-door wardrobe was the only option.

Materials: Interior made from white egger MFC laminated board with solid walnut framing. Drawer boxes from white MFC laminated board, walnut edged with solid walnut drawer fronts. Solid Brass handles and hanging rail fittings to suit. The sliding door exterior is made from moisture-resistant MDF with a white, polyurethane lacquer and walnut veneer with a satin clear, acrylic lacquer. Soft-close drawer runners are used throughout along with a very smooth, soft-close, sliding door system.

Client testimonial

Martin was recommended to us after our relatively small but highly bespoke projects were turned down by several large companies. Looking back, we’re very glad they did, as we are absolutely delighted with the work Martin did for us. Martin took the time to discuss with us what we were trying to achieve, understand how we wanted the end result to fit within our interior and came up with great design ideas.

His craftsmanship is really excellent and you can definitely see the quality of his work in the various pieces he produced for us. Further, he is very responsive to emails and sticks to deadlines (or will let you know in advance if something takes longer than expected). Even better, the rooms he was working in were clean at the end of each day when he was on site. Overall, we can only give high praise to Martin for his work. We have recommended him to our friends and neighbours, who have all been equally pleased with his work.

MW Creative Carpentry will guide you through the design, build and installation process to deliver outstanding results on time, and on budget.

In order to install projects in a safe and timely fashion, please ensure all access routes and relevant spaces are clear and that children and pets are kept away from tools and materials.

We ask customers not to open any wrapped panels if they are left in the property overnight. MW Creative Carpentry will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur in such instances.

We will require parking to be available within a sensible distance of the installation property. Please provide all relevant permits or tickets upon arrival.

The customer should coordinate with any other construction projects taking place in the property in order to avoid any delays or accidental damage during the installation process. If our installation is delayed, there will be a daily fee of £60 +VAT, as well as any extra costs to repair any damage.

Our real wood and veneered products have a protective UV finish to reduce the chance of them changing colour due to direct sunlight; however, some natural materials may still discolour slightly over time despite this.

For all other questions, please refer to our T&C’s.

Most of our materials and finishes are incredibly durable but are not indestructible.

For maximum longevity, we recommend that customers follow some simple care instructions to protect their furniture:

  • Avoid placing items on furniture that might cause chips, watermarks, and scuffs. Coasters, placemats and covers are recommended.
  • Be sure to dry off any wooden furniture that comes into contact with water to ensure longevity.
  • We recommend the use of furniture polish with a microfibre cloth and to avoid strong cleansers and cleaning agents.
  • If you experience any functional problems with our furniture, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will happily assist you.

If you are unsure how to use or care for your furniture, please ask for more information.
