Graze display unit

Graze display unit

Project goal:
To create a display unit which documented the history of Graze boxes over first 7 years of business. Originally planned to go on the ground floor reception area as a showpiece for visitors – I suggested that if they used the ‘dead space’ in the stairwell, they could tell the story of Graze as visitors climbed the stairs to upper floors.

Materials
Display cabinets made from oak veneered, birch plywood and finished in clear acyclic lacquer. LED strip lighting used in each cabinet along with fake grass to finish the interior. 6mm stainless steel rope and fixings were used to hold all 7 cabinets suspended from the 3rd floor ceiling.

Commissions start at £5000 +VAT and are typically between £10,000 and £50,000.

MW Creative Carpentry will guide you through the design, build and installation process to deliver outstanding results on time, and on budget.

In order to install projects in a safe and timely fashion, please ensure all access routes and relevant spaces are clear and that children and pets are kept away from tools and materials.

We ask customers not to open any wrapped panels if they are left in the property overnight. MW Creative Carpentry will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur in such instances.

We will require parking to be available within a sensible distance of the installation property. Please provide all relevant permits or tickets upon arrival.

The customer should coordinate with any other construction projects taking place in the property in order to avoid any delays or accidental damage during the installation process. If our installation is delayed, there will be a daily fee of £60 +VAT, as well as any extra costs to repair any damage.

Our real wood and veneered products have a protective UV finish to reduce the chance of them changing colour due to direct sunlight; however, some natural materials may still discolour slightly over time despite this.

For all other questions, please refer to our T&C’s.

Most of our materials and finishes are incredibly durable but are not indestructible.

For maximum longevity, we recommend that customers follow some simple care instructions to protect their furniture:

  • Avoid placing items on furniture that might cause chips, watermarks, and scuffs. Coasters, placemats and covers are recommended.
  • Be sure to dry off any wooden furniture that comes into contact with water to ensure longevity.
  • We recommend the use of furniture polish with a microfibre cloth and to avoid strong cleansers and cleaning agents.
  • If you experience any functional problems with our furniture, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will happily assist you.

If you are unsure how to use or care for your furniture, please ask for more information.
